Objective

As a result of the course the student is able to prepare financial plans, eg. master budgets, for a business organisation use manage accounting as a tool of management in product costing and performance measurement of a business in the international business environment. describe the key indicators used in financial statement analysis prepare financial statement analysis for a variety of types of firms prepare financial reports and knows the structure of the reports (P/L & B/S) for the financial year, also for small groups (of companies) describe the basic mechanics of international financing and gains an understanding of the risk faced by international firms and the means by which to minimise risk make plans and prepare calculations for capital investment decisions prepare short- and long-term cash-flow plans and cash statements for a company apply theoretical knowledge of strategic management skills in a realistic situation in a strategic business game
