Objective

This course is part of the module Managing and Developing Nursing. After completing the course Leadership Competence: - you will understand the importance of self-management and work community skills - you will assess and develop the quality of nursing in the work community in a customer and patient- oriented manner based on evidence - you identify factors related to wellbeing at work and are able to act responsibly in promoting wellbeing at work - you can guide the members and students of your work community as well as receive and give feedback - you can work in a cost-aware manner while upholding the principles of sustainable development.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

- Student identifies the importance of self-management and work community skills. - Student can somewhat determine the quality of nursing in a customer and patient-oriented manner based on evidence. - Student can describe factors related to wellbeing at work and endeavours to act responsibly in promoting wellbeing at work. - Student identifies the need for guidance among members and students of their work community and endeavours to receive and give feedback. - Student identifies the cost impact of their work and strives to work in accordance with the principles of sustainable development

Assessment criteria, good (3)

- Student understands the importance of self-management and work community skills. - Student can analyse the quality of nursing in a customer and patient-oriented manner based on evidence. - Student can apply the factors related to wellbeing at work and strives to promote wellbeing at work. - Student understands the need for guidance among members and students of their work community and knows how to receive and give feedback. - Student applies cost awareness and the principles of sustainable development in their work.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

- Student can analyse the significance of self-management work community skills. - Student can assess the quality of nursing in a varied manner in customer and patient-oriented manner based on evidence. - Student can compare the factors related to wellbeing at work and strives to promote wellbeing at work. - Student can justify the need for guidance among members and students of the work community and actively strives to give and receive feedback. - Student can justifiably apply cost awareness and the principles of sustainable development in their work.
