Objective
Acknowledge, understanding and proficiency of different ship machinery design, functions and structures including special requirements for ship machinery operations.
Content
Shaftline components, propellers and propulsors, gears, couplings, pressurised air systems, lubrication and fuel systems, cooling systems, deck machinery, steering gear, heating, ventilation and water systems.
Ship's auxiliary systems and equipment.
