Objective
Knowledge and understanding of and proficiency in:
- fire-fighting operations, organization and actions on gas tankers and ships subject to the IGF code
- fire fighting agents, equipment and methods used to control and extinguish gas-based fires
Content
- tanker and IGF-ship fire organization and actions to be taken
- special characteristics, hazards, and fire-fighting methods regarding liquefied gases
This course includes a basic fire-fighting practical exercise at a fire training centre.
