- principles of navigational aids.
- ability to determine errors of navigational aids.
Content
Ship's navigation aids: magnetic and gyro compass, (D)GPS, log, echo-sounder, AIS, VDR, autopilot
Location and time
Discussion with the teacher and, where appropriate, PSP-planning with your own mentor teacher.

Study materials are in Moodle.
Teaching methods
Scheduled track:
You will attend teaching and guidance sessions as specified in the schedule. Lecture hours in class, familiarization with various navigation devices and student presentations. Practice on the simulator.
