Objective

You can work professionally in different physiotherapy contexts with individuals and in group situations.
You will be able to combine the basic knowledge of customer-oriented physiotherapy planning and implementation to the musculoskeletal, respiratory and circulatory physiotherapy.
You are able to use and justify the means of physiotherapeutic examination, evaluation and influencing at different stages of a physiotherapy process.
You are able to support the client’s participation in promoting her/his own functional capacity in her/his own environment.
You will be able to describe the physiotherapy as a part of the client’s rehabilitation process and multi-professional co-operation.

Content

How do you assess the client’s capabilities in the frame of international ICF (International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health)
How do you support the client’s functional capacity with different assistive devices and how you advise her to take advantage of the environmental opportunities?
How do you motivate the clients to promote their health and functional capacity so that they have the feeling of empowerment?
How do you act as a physiotherapist in a multi-professional team?

Qualifications

Attending the course requires that learning outcomes of semesters I-III have been reached.
