Objective

You get competences to observe and evaluate the needs of an individual child and child groups and support and guide them in different developmental phases. You are able to observe the needs for special support. You know the basic principles of early childhood education. You can plan, actualize and evaluate activities that are goal-oriented and pedagogically developmental. You are familiar with educational partnership as your work orientation. You can carry out the principles of early support in practice.

Content

How do you realize child observation in early childhood pedagogy? What kind of methods are those promoting a child’s participation in early childhood education? What kind of pedagogical ideas are presented in alternative pedagogies? What is the meaning of partnership and early support? How is multiprofessional work and development of work actualized in early childhood education?
