Objective
You are able to describe group processes and you know which methods can be used to support group processes. You are able to design a goal-oriented instructional plan and to use different kinds of instructional methods when working with small groups. You gain experiences in working as a group instructor and are able to identify your strengths and challenges as an instructor and to evaluate different kinds of instructional situations.
Content
How do groups develop? What kind of groups and group roles are there? What kind of methods are there to support group processes and what are the effects that can be achieved by these activities? How to plan, implement and assess instructional group sessions? What kind of instructional styles can you use when instructing small groups?
Assessment criteria, good (3)
a. You are able to consistently use the professional concepts related to group dynamics and instructing groups c. You should be able to understand and analyze group situations related to group dynamics and you are able to perceive the different tasks in planning, implementing and evaluating instructional group situations. d. You are able to reflect on your own actions as an instructor for a small group f. You are able to work in a target-oriented manner as a member of a team.
