Objective

You are aware of the value base that forms the base for appreciative encountering.
You understand professional communication basics and strengthen the interaction skills needed in guidance.
You recognize the characteristics of sincere dialogue and know how to use dialogue as a working method.

Content

What are the factors behind professional communication and appreciative encountering?
How does dialogue differ from regular conversation?
As a community educator. how can you make use of digital information counseling and guidance services?
What skills are needed when encountering a person who needs guidance face-to face and in digital work?

Evaluation

You can use professional vocabulary systematically.
You look for information in the key information sources of the field.
You can identify interrelated tasks.
You are able to justify your actions according to the ethical principles of the professional field.

Study forms and methods

Työviikkopohjainen oppimisväylä:
luentoa, harjoitteita, ykislö- ja ryhmätehtäviä, opintojaksolla tehdään mahdollisuuksien mukaan pienimuotoisia harjoitteita työelämäkumppaneiden kanssa.
Opintoja nopeuttava väylä:
itsenäinen suoritus, johon ohjeet saa vastuuopettajalta
Työelämään integoitu väylä:
vastuuopettajan kanssa erikseen sovittava suoritustapa, joka edellyttää oman työelämäkytköksen
