Health promotion
You understand the basis and levels of health and welfare promotion.
You recognize the protective and strengthening factors of individual and community health and global health threats and challenges.
You can search and apply statistical information about the welfare of the population and draw conclusions about public health.
You understand the possibilities of welfare technology in health promotion.
You understand the consequence of health inequalities in the population and you can affect them.
You understand the ethical principles of health promotion.
Nutrition
You know how to apply Finnish nutrition and treatment recommendations for different age and target groups in preventing and nursing national diseases.
You know how to integrate nutritional care and guidance into comprehensive nursing in cooperation with a network of multisectoral experts.
You can take into account sustainable development and ethics in nutritional care and guidance.
You can assess the nutritional status of a customer/patient and refer the customer/patient in the risk of malnutrition to an expert.

Opiskelumateriaali löytyy opintojakson Learnistä.
Yksilölliset oppimisväylät
Yleisen terveyden edistämisen (3 op) osuuden opintosisällöt opiskellaan itsenäisesti Learnin opiskelumateriaaleja hyödyntäen, tehtävät integroidaan työelämään.
Ravitsemuksen (2 op) osuuden opintosisällöt opiskellaan itsenäisesti osoitetun opiskelumateriaalin avulla. Tehtävät integroidaan työelämään.
