You are able to take into account the life cycle of a product in logistics planning.
You are able to identify and prioritize logistic development needs in the demand-supply chain.
You are able to calculate the total costs of logistics operations.
You are able to network with different operators, specialists and companies.

Content

How does production strategy affect logistics costs and information needs in the demand-supply chain?
What are the requirements for efficient logistics at different stages of a product's life cycle?
How are the company´s total logistics costs calculated?

Evaluation

The students are able to

a. use professional vocabulary and concepts in an expert way in different situations.
b. evaluate information sources critically.
c. work as team members in working life expert duties and identify and describe the problems of the professional field.
f. promote teams’ goal-oriented operation.
g. apply critically the ethical principles of the professional field in different situations.
