Objective

You understand the central role of communication in managing a crisis situation. You learn the key principles of crisis communication and gain a comprehensive understanding of the prerequisites for success in crisis communication. You understand the ethical principles of communication and the importance of values for communication success. You learn how to prepare for crises from a communications perspective and understand the importance of prevention for the success of crisis communications. You will be able to develop a comprehensive crisis communication plan, taking into account internal and external communication channels. You also understand the specifics of social media in communication. You can implement and manage crisis communication.
