You know the basics of face-to-face and digital interaction.
You understand the importance of a holistic and equal encounter in supporting a young person.
You recognize the characteristics of sincere dialogue and know how to use it in face-to-face and digital encounters.

What are the factors behind face-to-face and digital interaction and appreciation?
What are the challenges when interacting with a young person?
What is digital youth work?
How can digital information, counseling and guidance services be utilized in youth work?

Evaluation

You are able to find information in the key sources of the field.
You are able to use the key models, methods, software and techniques in the field of youth work.
You are able to justify your actions according to the ethical principles in the field of youth work.

Study forms and methods

Työviikkopohjainen oppimisväylä:
luentoa, harjoitteita, ykislö- ja ryhmätehtäviä, opintojaksolla tehdään mahdollisuuksien mukaan harjoitteita työelämäkumppaneiden kanssa.
Opintoja nopeuttava väylä:
itsenäinen suoritus, johon ohjeet saa vastuuopettajalta
Työelämään integoitu väylä:
vastuuopettajan kanssa erikseen sovittava suoritustapa, joka edellyttää oman työelämäkytköksen

RDI and work-related cooperation

Pyritään toteuttamaan työelämän kanssa yhteistyötä, jossa harjoitellaan nuoren kohtaamista.

Ilmoitetaan opintojakson alussa.

Student workload

n. 50 tuntia lähtiopetusta, 85 tuntia itsenäistä ja ryhmätyöskentelyä.
