Yksilölliset oppimisväylät
• Teaching is carried out entirely as contact teaching on the Mikkeli campus according to the timetable. Remote participation is not possible. In principle, contact teaching is not recorded, and it is not replaced by remote lectures when contact teaching is given according to the sequence of lessons.
• Studying is carried out along the group meetings and independent tasks/learning tasks performed in groups. The course consists of 13 lectures and individual and small group assignments.
• Teacher guidance available in connection with lessons and at a separately agreed time
• The tasks to be evaluated are done independently.
• The course utilizes the written feedback method.
• The course consists of five sub-areas, which are evaluated separately.

Opiskelijan työmäärä
• 1 ECTS corresponds to approximately 27 hours of student work.
• In the 5-credit course, the student's workload is approx. 135 h, of which approx. 45 h are lectures and group work under the teacher's guidance according to the work schedule, and approx. 90 h are learning tasks to be worked on independently.
Toteutuksen osien kuvaus
In the first section, we familiarize ourselves with the core skill areas of self-management through task work.
In the second section, we learn about different management styles and paradigms and management theories.
In the third section, it introduces the analysis of the work community's operation and the development of its functionality.
In the fourth part, we familiarize ourselves with the typical tasks and tools of a manager, such as motivation, giving feedback, encouraging and recruiting.
In addition, management operating models in various organizations are examined.
The fifth section is a report about a work related to the literature of the field.
