Scheduled track:
You will attend teaching and guidance sessions as specified in the schedule. Teaching in class: Ship stability and buoyancy basics. The calculations in class and practical training in the computer class (the NAPA program of getting acquainted).
Independent track:
Degree of Deck Officer, operational level (STCW A-II/1) OR Degree of Engineer Officer, operational level (STCW A-III/1) OR Certificate of Competency: Deck Officer / Engineer Officer IS REQUIRED.
Blended track:
Discussion with the teacher and, where appropriate, PSP-planning with your own mentor teacher.

Outside experts: Very experienced, with more than 40 year practice, Shipbuilding Engineer Jan Babicz will make three lectures in Teams as a complaint about the stability of the ship, construction and stability requirements of the ship for groups MKKT23SP ja MIKT23SP, I'll invite your group also and save lectures in Teams.

During the course, students will return the midterm exams, and training with calculations.

Polish Shipbuilding Engineer Jan Babicz makes three lectures in Teams and support our studies with teaching materials.
Opiskelijan työmäärä
The course is 2.5 e.p. For you, it's a refresher course, but there will also be a new things. Most of the time we work in the auditorium. The theory will take 8 x 3 = 24 hours, about 8-10 hours need for self-study. Three hours comes for loading program NAPA familiarization and training.

Completion of the course requires 100% attendance and intermediate exams execution.
