Developing client-oriented methods for promotion of functional capacity (10 cr)

Objective

You can observe and promote your client’s functional capacity considering her/his individual resources, meanings and needs in connection with her/his working, operational and living environment.
You can ensure and empower your client and her/his meaningful others to participate in rehabilitation planning and decision-making in rehabilitation service system.
You can deepen and share your knowledge in assessment of functional capacity, agency and needs for services by applying methods of your field and taking advantage of multidisciplinary and international knowledge.
You can deepen and apply multidisciplinary knowledge and evidence-based methods for promotion of your client’s rehabilitation and welfare.
You can enhance your client’s every-day activities by taking advantage of her/his social network and peers.
You can evaluate, develop and innovate your working methods in client-oriented guidance and work practice.

How do you identify your client’s life situation, expectations and needs?
How do you empower your client and her/his meaningful others to assess her/his individual resources, functional and working abilities and service needs?
How do you strengthen your client’s role and motivation as a participant in the various stages of rehabilitation process and in different environments?

How do you ensure multidisciplinary collaboration to support individual rehabilitation process?

Osa opiskeluaineistosta löytyy Moodlesta opintojakson alkaessa. Oppimistehtäviin sisältyy opiskelijan itsenäistä, tehtäviin soveltuvaa tiedonhakua ohjatun aineiston lisäksi.

Study forms and methods

Työviikkopohjainen oppimisväylä:
Osallistut työjärjestyksen mukaisesti lähiopiskeluun, joka pääsääntöisesti toteutuu asiantuntija-alustuksiin ja ohjaukseen perustuvina toiminnallisina ja moniammatillisina työpajoina ja perustuvat opiskelijoiden aktiiviseen osallistumiseen. Opiskelusi rytmittyvät työjärjestyksen mukaisten ryhmätapaamisten ja itsenäisesti ja/tai pienryhmissä tehtävien oppimistehtävien mukaan.

Opintoja nopeuttava oppimisväylä:
Kaikki yamk-opinnot integroidaan työelämän yhteyksiin oppimistehtävillä, jolloin tietoperusta ja käytännön kokemus tukevat toisiaan.

Työhön integroitu oppimisväylä:
Voit nopeuttaa opintojasi tekemällä opintojaksoon sisältyvät itsenäiset tehtävät oman aikataulusi mukaan.

Student workload

Opintojakson kokonaisuus (2019-2020) 10 op = 270h opiskelijan työtä.
Syksyllä opiskelijan työnmäärä on 4 op, josta lähiopiskelua on 16 h 12.9.- 10.10.2019 välisenä aikana ja sen lisäksi itsenäistä ja pienryhmien verkkotyöskentelyä ja tehtäviä 92 h.
Opintojakso jatkuu keväällä 2020, 6 op.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Opiskelija osaa
a. hankkia, käsitellä, tuottaa ja arvioida kriittisesti monialaista tietoa kuntoutumisen edistämisen menetelmistä
b. ratkaista kuntoutumisen edistämiseen liittyviä vaativia ongelmia tutkimus-, kehittämis- ja /tai innovaatiotoiminnassa
c. arvioida ja johtaa itsenäisesti yksittäisten ihmisten sekä ryhmien toimintaa
d. vastata ja kehittää asiakaslähtöisiä toimintoja itsenäisesti
e. arvioida kuntoutumista edistäviä strategisia lähestymistapoja ja perustella niiden käyttöä johtamisen ja kehittämisen näkökulmasta
f. työskennellä itsenäisesti kuntoutumisen asiantuntijatehtävissä tai oman alan yrittäjänä
g. viestiä asiantuntevasti sekä johdonmukaisesti suullisesti ja kirjallisesti omalla äidinkielellä sekä yhdellä vieraalla kielellä
