Objective

You are familiar with the most common QHSE management systems (safety, health, quality, environmental) and you understand how they can be utilized in business management.
You are familiar with logistics service quality dimensions in demand-supply chains and common quality indicators and you are able to analyse the quality of logistics services.

Content

What are the most common management systems?
How can management systems be utilized?
What are the quality dimensions of logistics services?
How can logistics service quality be measured?

Evaluation

The students are able to
a. use professional vocabulary systematically.
b. look for information in the key information sources of the field.
c. identify interrelated tasks.
e. use the key models, methods, software and techniques of the professional field
f. work as team members in a goal-oriented way.

Study forms and methods

Scheduled track:
The student proceeds in accordance to the timetable

Independent track:
The student can perform the course or a part of it integrated in work life if he/she works in quality management tasks

Blended track:
The student can take the course together with an older study group

RDI and work-related cooperation

No practical training included in the course

Timing of exams and assignments

Re-exam can be taken on XAMK´s common re-exam days on May 20.5.2019 or on September (day will be informed later)

The students work load is about 135 h in average

Service Quality: assessment is based on exams

Assessment criteria, fail (0)

The grade for one of both of the exams is <50 %

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

The grade for the exams is 50 - 69 % %

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

The greade for the exams is 60 - 79 %

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The greade for the exams is 90 - 100 %
