Opiskelijan työmäärä

Theory: workload 5 x 27h = 135 h

Preclinical training: workload 4 x 16 h = 64 h. 6 practical training days (7-8 h / day) and evaluation of learning. The student can practice nursing activities in the Skills Workshop under the guidance of a teacher.

Knowledge of ergonomics: 1 ECTS = 27 h, 12 h of theory study in contact teaching and 15 h of independent study. And 0.5 ECTS = 13.5 h, of which 6 h is a compulsory practice in a small group at school and the rest is independent study.

Self-acting studying and lectures, exam at the end. Evaluation 1-5 / fail.

Preclinical training: 6 obligatory practical days at school + evaluation of learning.

Ergonomics section: Ergonomics theory and small practice tasks. Practicing patient transfer and movement assistance in the school premises using assistive devices.

Documentation: 2 mandatory lectures and two documentation assignments. Evaluation passed/failed

Nursing interventions

You understand your professional responsibilities and obligations and your actions promote patient safety.

Aseptic practices in nursing

Ergonomics

You know the legislation related to nursing ergonomics and know how to act accordingly.
You are capable of functioning in a customer-oriented manner in an aid situation.
You understand the principles of nursing that promote rehabilitation and know how to implement them in your work.
You are able to take into account environmental safety and risks in relocation and relief situations.
You are able to report and document the patient's assistance situation from the perspective of the patient’s functional status.

Theory-studies at school and on-line 6 studypoints
Preclinical training at school 4 studypoints

Preclinical training is part of obligatory clinical training for EU-nurses. Every lesson is obligatory.
All the subjects are found from Learn-study-module.

Ergonomics-card gives you recognition of prior learning.

Clinical nursing 1 includes preclinical training (3 sp nursing, 1 sp ergonomy) at school.

Exam of basics of clinical training.

Evaluation of learning in practical skills: 1 hour/student

Theory: workload 6 x 27h = 162 h

Preclinical training: workload 3 x 16h = 48 h. 7 practical training-days and evaluation of learning. 1 extra day for extra practising. Opportunity to practise independantly at school.

Ergonomics: workload 1 x 16h

Toteutuksen osien kuvaus

Self-acting studying and lectures, exam at the end. Self-acting studing. Evaluation 1-5 / fail.

Preclinical training: 8 obligatory practical days at school + evaluation of learning.
