• You can apply the theories on health promotion and evidence-based methods in nursing individuals and communities.

The estimated time for completing this course is three months.

5 ECTS = 135 hours

Content scheduling

The course is divided into three main sections:
1. HEALTH PROMOTION 1 ECTS
2. COMMUNITY HEALTH PROMOTION & GLOBAL HEALTH 2 ECTS
3. NUTRITION 2 ECTS

Each section (1-3) contains assignments and a reflective learning diary that needs to be done. In section 3 there is also a test.
The final exam is at the end of the course. (To pass the exam you need to score 70% of the total marks)
There is no possibility to do parts of the course, but it must be done in its entirety (parts 1-3).

The course will be carried out 100 % online. You work independently studying the material, take part of online discussions, and tests.

Xamk, assessment guidelines for students’ know-how and skills (bachelor’s level) 3 a. Use professional vocabulary systematically. b. look for information in the key information sources of the field. e. use the key models, methods, software and techniques of the professional field.

Each section (1-3) contains assignments and a reflective learning diary that needs to be done passed/failed. In section 3 there is also a test (pass 75%).
The final exam is at the end of the course. (To pass the exam you need to score 70% of the total marks)

The student progresses on the course at his / her own pace in accordance with the given course completion time.
The final learning test is at the end of the course.
