- different diesel engine constructions, service and maintenance of marine diesels including vital measurements
- engine control and economical aspects in operation
- fuel injection techniques and their impact to exhaust gas emissions including emission reduction, emission control systems and devices
- multi-fuel engines
- operation of main and auxiliary diesel engines and their maintenance

Content

- two stroke and 4 stroke diesel constructions, components, service and repair work with key measurements of running gear components
- engine adjustment and system control, economic operation of diesel engine plants
- fuel injection techniques, f.i. impact on e.g. emissions, emission reduction, emission control
