Degree of Deck Officer, operational level (STCW A-II/1) OR Degree of Engineer Officer, operational level (STCW A-III/1) OR Certificate of Competency: Deck Officer / Engineer Officer IS REQUIRED.
Blended track:
Discussion with the teacher and, where appropriate, PSP-planning with your own mentor teacher.

The course has one task, student will start to complete it at the beginning of the course and it should be done at the end of the course.

Opiskelijan työmäärä
The course has 2 e.p., it is about 42 hours. In the class we study the theory 10 x 3 = 30 hours, 6 hours (one day) visit to the shipyard, the rest for self-study and completion of end task.
Further information
The study process includes a visit to the repair shipyard in Loviisa.
Completion of the course requires 100% attendance and completion of the task.
