You understand the role of the emergency care service system and the principles of legislation guiding emergency care.

You become proficient in interviewing patients and carrying out clinical examinations at the basic level in accordance with the principles of ethical and pair work.

You know how to use examination and care technology at the basic level to examine patients and administer emergency care and to assess and support the sufficiency of the patient’s vital functions (including basics of ECG, manual airway management, use of supraglottic airway devices and use a defibrillator)
