Opiskelumateriaali

Opintojaksolla on perehdyttävä/käytetään seuraavaa materiaalia
• Insinöörin matematiikka, Tuomenlehto ym., 1.-5. painos, 2018. Muutkin painokset käyvät.
• Matemaattisten aineiden taulukkokirja (MAOL-taulukot tai Tekniikan kaavasto).
• Kurssin Learn-sivulla tarjottu materiaali.

Kirja toimii opintojaksolla tukena, mutta ei ole välttämätön. Matemaattisten aineiden taulukkokirjakaan ei ole välttämätön, mutta hankintaa suositellaan, koska taulukkokirjaa pystyy hyödyntämään lähes kaikissa insinööriopintojen matemaattis-luonnontieteellisissä opintojaksoissa.

Yksilölliset oppimisväylät

• Toteutus sisältää 7 lähiopetuskertaa Savonlinnan kampuksella ja lisäksi aikaan sitomatonta/aikaan sidottua työskentelyä verkkoympäristössä. Lähiopetusta annetaan torstai-iltaisin sekä perjantaina ja lauantaina. Lähipäivien aikana käydään opettajajohtoisesti läpi laskuharjoitustehtäviä ja lähitapaamisten välillä tutustutaan omatoimisesti opettajan valmistelemiin teoriavideoihin. Läsnäolo lähipäivissä on suositeltavaa, mutta ei välttämätöntä. Lähipäivien tunteja ei nauhoiteta, koska tuntien sisältö ei tue etäopetusta.
• Opettajan ohjausta saatavilla lähiopetuksen yhteydessä ja aina tarvittaessa sähköpostin välityksellä.

Opintojakson lopussa on verkossa suoritettava tentti, joka aukeaa suoritettavaksi erikseen sovittuna aikana.

Opintojakson hylättyä lopputenttiä saa uusia kaksi kertaa.

Opiskelijan työmäärä

• 1 op vastaa noin 27 tuntia opiskelijan työtä. Työmäärä kuitenkin riippuu opiskelutaidoista ja aiemmasta osaamisesta.
• 3 op:n opintojaksolla opiskelijan työmäärä on n. 81 t, josta n. 10 t on työjärjestyksen mukaisesti opettajan ohjaamia laskuharjoitustilaisuuksia ja n. 70 t itsenäisesti katsottavia (videoituja) teoriaosuuksia ja suoritettavia laskuharjoituksia.

Toteutuksen osien kuvaus

Opintojakso kertaa tai vahvistaa matemaattisia valmiuksia jatkokursseja varten. Sisältöön kuuluu mm. murtolausekkeet, potenssi- ja juurilausekkeet, 1. ja 2. asteen yhtälöiden ratkaiseminen, funktion käsite ja suorakulmaisen kolmion ratkaiseminen.

Assessment methods and criteria

Arviointi tehdään suhteessa opintojakson osaamistavoitteisiin ja arviointikriteereihin. Opintojakson arviointi perustuu loppukokeen tulokseen. Loppukokeesta vaadittava minimipistemäärä on kolmasosa opintojakson maksimipistemäärästä (10p/30p).
